Samantha was born in Scotland and moved to Houston with her family in 1995. She went to Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart in Houston and then attended the University of Alabama, where she majored in public relations and minored in psychology. She was a member of Delta Delta Delta and is a huge Crimson Tide football fan. She always knew that when she graduated she would return to Houston and is glad to be back home.
During her marketing internships, she wrote press releases, worked with graphic designers and printers, utilizing a Google adwords campaign to promote a new website and create standardized layouts for marketing materials using Indesign. She researched potential client opportunities, potential media partners and tracked client’s competitors.
In college she was also a member of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) and plans to join the American Marketing Association (AMA) and Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).
